SIGN UP PROCESS:
1st Meeting
In the 1st meeting, consultant is responsible to evaluate the client’s financial situation and describe all applicable options to the client. The consultant does not impose any option; he/she is only responsible for educating the client about all pros and cons for all options and allowing the client to choose an option.
Enter as many fields as possible about the client into the 1st meeting file.
If the client is already entered and ready to move onto the 2nd step. Go to the 2nd meeting.
Make print-outs of client record, keep one copy and give another to client.
2nd Meeting
1. Make a copy of all IDs
2. Fill-out client information in system
3. Make print-outs from client file
a. Consent under “PIPEDA”
b. GTA Questions for Trustee
c. Client Info page for trustee
d. GTA Service Agreement & Fee settlement
e. Get sign on all required sheets
4. Take GTA fee
5. Create Closing sheet
6. Update Sign up date and time in sign up calendar
7. Make proper file for Trustee
8. Upload file to GTA Server and update sign up calendar
9. Double check sign up calendar that file sent to trustee (one day in advance)
10. Call to client one day in advance to confirm the appointment.
Sign up Meeting
1. Collect remaining GTA fee.
2. Collect Other fee (if applicable)
3. Collect D and S 1st Payment in Cash
4. Make print-outs from closing sheet file.

c. Cover Sheet
d. D and S Fee PAP
e. Other Fee PAP
f. D and S Service Agreement & Fee settlement
g. Collection Calls & Payment Disbursement
5. Go to Counselling's Sheet File
6. Make a print-out of Counselling's Sheet Schedule page one only
7. Get signature on all required sheets
8. Make a photocopy of all papers signed by client for your record
9. Put all documents along with booklet, pen, and gift in GTA folder and give to client
10. Get sign up with trustee.
